GADAG: A stray dog attacked more than 10 people, including children and senior citizens, over the last two days in Betageri Sharanabasaveshwara city in the district.
The injured people are undergoing treatment at the Betageri government hospital and some of them are admitted in a private hospital. The children suffered injuries in the head, leg, chest and hands.
The villagers are in panic after the stray dog menace. The dog was sighted in Sharanabasaveshwara city, Kanaginahala Agasi and Bhajantri colony. Locals suspected that it is rabid and are on the lookout for it.
