MANDYA: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar threw money on artists from a bus during a rally at Bevinahalli village in Mandya district on Tuesday.
As part of the Prajadhwani Yatra, a roadshow was held in Srirangapatna Assembly constituency on Tuesday. At that time, Shivakumar threw money at the artists from the bus. But the troupe of folk artists, who had participated in the Yatra, were upset with his act during the rally.
While giving money to the folk artists, Shivakumar threw currency notes of Rs 500 denomination from the top of the bus. The scene was caught on camera, and the citizens have expressed outrage against his act.
