Delivery agent dies after being knocked down by car following argument; 2 arrested

The delivery agent was killed by two car-borne youths.

BENGALURU: A delivery agent was killed after an argument over his two-wheeler brushing against a car near GKVK in Vidyaranyapura on Wednesday evening. The deceased was identified as Mahesh (21). Two people have been arrested for his murder.

The occupants of the car, Aravind and Keshav, first got into an argument with Mahesh. When the latter was leaving, the duo thought he was escaping and chased the delivery agent for about 1 km and knocked down his two-wheeler.

Due to the impact, Mahesh’s head was crushed between a compound wall and a pole, killing him on the spot. Mahesh was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Mahesh was with his friends Balaji and Nikhil before the argument broke out. A resident of Chamundeshwari Layout, he was studying second-year degree alongside his work. The Vidyaranyapura police have arrested Aravind and Keshav and booked them for murder.
