Speaking to the media, Vijayendra said that the BJP welcomed the government’s decision to order an SIT investigation. However, he expressed concern about the spread of misinformation and rumors on social media during the investigation.

He demanded that the government take action to curb such activities and ensure a transparent investigation. Vijayendra also criticized the government for not taking action against those spreading misinformation and said the Chief Minister should apologise to the people of the state for not taking action.

He alleged that the investigation was being conducted at the behest of Left-wing organisations and demanded a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy.

“Dinesh Gundu Rao himself has said that there are Leftist organisations behind this. If that is true, then a thorough investigation should be conducted. In addition, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar himself has said that there is a conspiracy behind this and that they will expose the conspiracy when the opportunity arises. People are asking why the opportunity has not come yet…? Those who are conspiring should be exposed”, he said.

The BJP leader emphasized that his party is not politicizing the Dharmasthala case and demanded that the government reveal the truth behind the conspiracy. He also urged the government to bring an end to the speculation surrounding the investigation and provide a clear status update on the matter.
