CHIKKODI: Dejected that he could not get into the Indian Army, a youth committed suicide by hanging at his house in Hanchinal village of Nipani taluk.
Appaso Shivaji Panade (24) had been working in a private factory in Maharashtra for the last two years. Meantime, he had also been trying to join the army.
When he came to know that he hadn’t qualified, he ended his life, police said. The Nipani Rural police visited the village and have registered a case.
