CHIKKABALLAPUR: The ear studs of a woman who died in the district hospital, went missing, prompting the family members to accuse the hospital staff of stealing them.
Tulasi (80) of Guttenahalli in Gauribidanur taluk, got admitted to district hospital and medical college on Tuesday evening. However, she did not respond to treatment and passed away that night and the body was shifted to the mortuary.
On Wednesday morning, when the family members arrived to claim the body, they noticed Tulasi’s ear studs missing. Following the discovery, they have lodged a complaint with the medical college dean.
