Davanagere nursing students ‘copy en masse’, institute denies involvement

The Sanjeevini Nursing Institute in Davanagere where some students were allegedly caught copying.

DAVANAGERE: A batch of students of a nursing college here were allegedly caught copying en masse with the assistance of a college staffer during an exam on Monday.

Some students were allegedly accommodated in a separate classroom.

Some students of the Sanjeevini Institute of Nursing Sciences in Anjaneya Layout, who were writing the anatomy paper were being allegedly helped by a staffer sitting outside the classroom with the answers on his mobile phone. It is said that some students had paid Rs 10,000 each and they were accommodated in a separate classroom where they were allowed to copy en masse.

The incident was caught on camera by some individuals who took the institute authorities to task. However, the college authorities denied any link to the copying incident.
