BENGALURU: Actor Darshan, who is out on interim bail in the Renukacharya murder case, has had his operation date fixed. The surgery is scheduled for December 11 and after the surgery, he may need three to four months for recovery. The doctor has advised complete rest for the first three weeks.
The High Court has reserved its order on his regular bail plea and also on his application seeking an extension of interim bail on health grounds. Meanwhile, his interim bail period ends on Wednesday, and there is a possibility that the court may pronounce its order on his bail plea by the end of this week.
If Darshan undergoes surgery and the court passes an adverse order, he might be in trouble. His lawyers have informed the court that he will undergo surgery on Wednesday. There is also a possibility that the Supreme Court might cancel his interim bail. The court has reserved its order and Darshan’s lawyers are waiting for the verdict.
According to the doctor’s advice, Darshan must take 3-4 months of rest for recovery. But the exact duration of rest depends on the type of surgery performed. Usually, three to four months are required for recovery after surgery. Complete bed rest is advised for the first three weeks. After three weeks, simple exercise can be started gradually. It will take around 8-10 weeks to start walking normally.
