BENGALURU: Actor Darshan, who had skipped a court hearing citing back pain on Wednesday, was spotted watching his friend Dhanveer’s film ‘Vamana’ at a special screening at GT Mall the same night.
Despite his back pain, Darshan watched the three-hour film, and fans gathered at the mall to catch a glimpse of the actor. The screening started at 8 pm and Darshan arrived at the mall around that time.
Darshan is out on bail in the Renukaswamy murder case and failed to appear in court on August 8 for hearing. His lawyers claimed he was suffering from back pain and requested an exemption from attending the hearing. However, the judge expressed displeasure at the accused’s absence during the hearing. “It was not acceptable for the accused to be absent from the hearing, he must be present. It is not right to seek exemption”, the court had remarked.
Meanwhile, Pavithra Gowda and other accused individuals were present in court on Tuesday. The court had earlier granted bail to the accused with the condition that they must appear in court every month, wherever they are.
