Darshan, Pavitra Gowda used internet, SIM registered in others’ names

BENGALURU: The investigation into the Renukaswamy murder case, where actor Darshan and his friend Pavitra Gowda are the main accused, has thrown up several startling facts. In a significant development, it has been revealed that Darshan and Pavitra Gowda not only used fake SIM cards, but all the items used in the crime were also fake, which were in someone else’s name, a motorcycle and internet connection.

The police have discovered that the internet connection used by the two accused at their homes was also in someone else’s name. One of the accused, Pavan, had obtained an internet connection in his name. Police have seized most of the items in the case, including SIM cards, bike and internet connections; all of which were in other’s names. The police have now written a letter to private internet companies to collect more information.
