BENGALURU: A photo of jailed actor Darshan smoking a cigarette with history-sheeter Wilson Garden Naga in the Parappana Agrahara Central jail premises, is going viral on social media platforms.
Darshan and two other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, along with Wilson Garden Naga, can be seen sitting on a chair holding a tea cup and cigarettes, talking to each other with a smile on their faces. A table was kept in front of them. Darshan’s wig is removed in the picture.
This has raised questions about whether murder accused Darshan and the gang are getting VIP treatment at Parappana Agrahara Central jail. He is being provided with all facilities, including hot water, eggs, milk and cigarettes. He has also been given a special bed. This despite he having appealed to court for home food.
The picture seems to an an example of how money can buy anything in jail. The four seemed to be happy in jail and talking to each other. It also raises questions about why jail officials are quiet on the Darshan case and whether they are bowing to influential politicians.
Wilson Garden Naga, a history-sheeter, is providing royal treatment to Darshan in jail. Naga is taking care of Darshan’s needs and he is being provided with a special privileges.
Darshan and Naga are said to be regularly meeting in jail and having a good time. This despite the fact that Naga is supposed to be in a different block. The jail officials are not taking any action and it seems like they are under pressure from powerful politicians.
The Centra Crime Branch (CCB) police, who raided the jail on Saturday, seized a few materials, including phones and some devices, and told the media that they did not find any other prohibited items.
