Darshan fan holds photoshoot for one-year-old child dressed as undertrial

BENGALURU: An ardent fan of actor Darshan recently held a photoshoot of his one-year-old child dressed as an undertrial prisoner.

The child was seen wearing a white T-shirt as a prisoner uniform with a prisoner number and handcuffs. The photoshoot has sparked outrage on social media.

Earlier, children traditionally been dressed up as figures like Krishna, Swami Vivekananda, and Dr Ambedkar for photoshoots. But, this new trend appears to be inspired by Darshan’s on-screen persona.

Darshan’s fans have started to create new trends every day by doing something different. However, the photoshoot has sparked outrage on social media, with many expressing their disapproval of dressing up a child up as a prisoner.

Actor Darshan has been accused of three cases, including a murder case, and the police are looking into the old cases against him to record him as a history-sheeter.

The police have reopened old cases and are preparing a report, including the murder case of Renukaswamy and the assault on his wife Vijayalakshmi, on instructions from higher officials and to take necessary action.

The police are taking serious action against Darshan and are preparing a comprehensive report on the old cases. They are taking steps to reinvestigate the old cases which are serious offenses.
