BENGALUR: The first-look photos of Darshan and Pavithra Gowda, accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, have gone viral after they were sent back to jail. Darshan has offered prayers at a temple at Bannari in Tamil Nadu and offered his hair. But questions are being raised on how those photo was leaked.
Darshan was seen wearing a tilak at a temple in Tamil Nadu’s Bannari. Meanwhile, the police are gearing up to file a petition with the government on Monday to establish a fast-track court to expedite the trial.
Following the Supreme Court’s cancellation of their bail, the police are now pushing to complete the trial quickly and ensure the accused are punished.
The police have discussed the matter with the law department and are planning to submit a petition to the government. Additionally, the jail authorities are likely to request the court to transfer Darshan from Parappana Agrahara jail to Ballari jail, citing concerns about his interactions with rowdy elements in the jail.
Darshan has reportedly been behaving normally with jail staff and fellow inmates and had anticipated the bail cancellation. Interestingly, he had shaved his head before entering the jail, sparking speculation about his preparations.
It was expected that the bail would be cancelled when the Supreme Court expressed its displeasure over the High Court verdict. Therefore, he claimed that he was mentally prepared in advance to face consequences.
Police have also warned fans visiting the Parappana Agrahara jail that they will face legal action if they continue to gather outside the jail.
