BENGALURU: After the Congress released its second list of candidates on Thursday, some Congress aspirants are disappointed and are even ready to quit the party over not getting a ticket. This has now become a huge challenge before Opposition leader Siddaramaiah and KPCC president D K Shivakumar.
While both Siddaramaiah and D K Sivakumar prepare themselves to face the disenchantment, there is speculations in the Congress that of some of its MLA aspirants may rebel. Some senior leaders have already expressed their outrage.
The All India Congress Committee (ALCC) had given instruction that if the Congress state leaders get any clue of dissidence regarding the ticket distribution, the respective leaders should take correct steps. The party believes that Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar can tackle the dissidence among their supporters and bring the sitauation under control which will be necessary too for the party ahead of the Assembly election.
