Cyber criminals target online payment software of some e-commerce firms, siphon off Rs 16 crore

BENGALURU: The portals of a few e-commerce companies have been hacked by cyber criminals who duped the firms of over Rs 16 crore.

Software company Omniware Technologies Pvt Ltd had developed an online payment system for companies such as Farmtheory Pvt Ltd, ESaaS Technologies, Tyke Technologies Pvt Ltd and PayFlash Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Some cyber criminals have cheated the companies of Rs 16,67,68,775 by transferring the account from their accounts. The company which developed the softward has now registered a case with the cyber crime police station.
