BENGALURU: The owner of a cyber cafe in Kengeri has been arrested after he allegedly used abusive language and harassed a woman employee, Lakshmi. The incident occurred around 7.30 pm on January 22 when Lakshmi was called to the office.

Lakshmi had been working at the cyber cafe for the past five years, but had recently taken a leave due to personal reasons. The owner, Syed, was reportedly upset with Lakshmi for taking leave and allegedly used abusive language against her in public, in the middle of the road.

The incident was witnessed by several people who took Syed to task, and Lakshmi filed a complaint with the Kengeri police station. Based on her complaint, the police arrested Syed, the owner of the cyber cafe. The incident has sparked outrage, with many calling for strict action against Syed.
