BENGALURU: A customer who visited Mr Andhra Meals, a popular eatery in the city, was shocked to see an additional charge of Rs 30 for ‘gas supply issue’ on his bill. The customer had gone to the hotel as there was food shortage in the paying guest accommodation where he was staying.
The customer took to social media, calling it a ‘big scam’ and accusing the hotel of exploiting the LPG shortage. “Did you think we’d just swallow this Gas Supply Issue charge?” the customer tweeted, tagging Bengaluru City Police. “This is how they’re looting the public”, he added.
