BENGALURU: The Lokayukta court has reserved its order for December 23 regarding the B report filed in the MUDA site allotment scam case involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The court deferred the decision, citing incomplete investigation and directed the Lokayukta police to submit the final report by the month-end.

Snehamayi Krishna, the complainant, had challenged the Lokayukta police’s B report exonerating the CM of any wrongdoing in the allotment of 14 sites at upscale localities in Mysuru by MUDA. The court instructed the Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) to provide the case diary and asked both parties to submit additional arguments regarding the B report.

The judge questioned why the Lokayukta had filed a chargesheet earlier but not submitted the final report in the case. The SPP replied that the final report was ready, but pending approval. The Lokayukta authorities claimed the investigation was in its final stages and requested more time. The judge stated he would decide after reviewing the case details.

Snehamayi Krishna expressed dissatisfaction, alleging the court was delaying the process. The court directed the Lokayukta police to submit the case diary and additional information by December 23. He alleged the Lokayukta officials were indirectly supporting corruption and lacked understanding of the law. He demanded action against the investigating officer for filing a false report and urged the court to expedite the decision on the B report.
