BENGALURU: The traffic police fined a couple Rs 1,500 for indulging in public display of affection from the sunroof of a moving car on Koramangala road.

On Tuesday night, the couple was returning home in the car after dinner. During the drive back home, they opened the sunroof of the car and indulged in public display of affection, hugging each other on road. The couple’s behaviour was recorded on video by a motorist, who posted it on social media and tagged the police.
Following the complaint on social media, the Halasuru traffic police tracked down the owner based on the car’s registration number. They have imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 for dangerous driving and Rs 500 for obstructing traffic and have warned them not to repeat such behavior in the future.
