BENGALURU: Parents may sometimes unwittingly be exposing their children to dangers, especially while travelling on two-wheelers or cars. In one such case, a couple was filmed riding on a scooter with their young son standing by the side on the footrest while the mother holds on to him.

An X @Lollubee posted the video stating that the incident took place near Graphite India in Whitefield area and tagged the city police and the traffic police urging action. A caption on the video read, “How Stupid parents can be?? This video was captured At Graphite India , whilefield Bengaluru. Will there be any action taken on these parents?” and mentioned the vehicle registration number.
The video was posted around 11 pm on Monday night, but it was not known when the incident actually occurred.
Responding to the post, the Bengaluru traffic police @blrcitytraffic only tagged the Whitefield traffic police (@wftrps). While there was no official word from the police, another X user @RCBengaluru posted a picture of the vehicle, and its owner being handed a challan by a traffic constable on Tuesday morning, claiming that action had been taken by the Mahadevapura traffic police.
