KOLAR: A couple, who suffered burn injuries in an LPG cylinder explosion caused due to gas leakage in Kolar, died after a week of undergoing treatment at the Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru. The deceased couple was identified as Girish and Nandini.
The incident took place on September 16 at Madhusudhan farm house in Kolar taluk and the couple had sustained severe burn injuries. Girish and Nandini, who hailed from Kuppadahalli village in Mulbagal taluk, lived in the farm house on Manighatta road in Kolar taluk.
The incident occurred when they were making coffee. They were seriously injured and died without responding to treatment. A case has been registered at Kolar Rural police station and further investigation is on.
