BAGALKOT: To commemorate the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Lal Bahadur Shastri Credit Cooperative Society in Guledagudda has decided to open fixed deposits of Rs 5,000 for every child born on January 22, 2024.
Cooperative Society vice-president Prashanth Jawali said the fixed deposits will be opened for both boy and girl children born at the government hospital in Guledagudda. The fixed deposit will mature when the child turns 18 and the maturity amount will be Rs 25,000, he noted.
The cooperative society celebrated its decadal anniversary on the the Pran Pratishtha was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Ram temple at Ayodhya.
