BIDAR: A contractual cook, who was involved in an RSS procession, was terminated from his work in Basavakalyan.
Pramod, son of Ashok Kumar, working as an assistant cook in the pre-metric boys’ hostel of Basavakalyan, has been relieved of his duties by the taluk administration for participating in an RSS procession. The order states that government employees receiving salaries should not participate in any events of any organisation or association.
Reportedly, over 20 government officials participated in the RSS procession in Basavakalyan. Several government employees and officials are said to have taken part in processions held in various parts of the district.
