BENGALURU: An elderly man died on the spot after a container truck ran over him in Dobbspet, Nelamangala taluk. The deceased has been identified as Kemparangaiah (75) from Agalakuppe.
The aged man was caught under the rear wheel of the container truck and died on the spot due to multiple injuries. The container truck was on its way from Tumakuru to Doddaballapur.
The truck has been seized by Dobbspet police and the driver arrested. The accident caused traffic congestion in the area for some time.
