BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah told the Congress legislature party meeting that a conspiracy has been hatched to topple the government in six months time by wooing the party legislators. He also said Union Heavy Industries Minister H D Kumaraswamy has held talks in this regard with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

“Our MLAs are united and the opposition cannot dislodge this government. The BJP state unit has joined hands with the JD(S) in this conspiracy. A Union minister and BJP general secretary (organisation) B L Santosh are actively trying to pull down the government”, the CM said.

“I have information that former PM H D Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy have discussed this with the BJP central leaders. But nothing will happen to the government. Let’s stay united”, Siddaramaiah told the meeting.
