KOPPAL: Former minister and former Yelburga Congress MLA Basavaraj Rayareddy has come under fire for offering bagina at a lake while keeping his footwear on.
Rayareddy had gone to Muradi village to offer bagina at the lake. However, he had kept his footwear on, inviting criticism from several quarters.
The BJP targeted Rayareddy by posting photographs of Minister Halappa Achar, who had offered bagina at the same lake a few days ago, where he is seen barefoot.
BJP workers posted photographs of Halappa Achar and Basavaraj Rayareddy, mocking the latter questioning whether people need someone who works for them or a hi-tech politician.
