MANGALURU: Some Congress activists created a ruckus at the house of BJP social media chief Jayananda in Dakshina Kannada, carrying a Congress banner accompanied by chenda drums.
It is alleged that rowdy-sheeter Prajwal Rai and Congress supporters broke into the house of Jayananda at Tarigudde in Puttur taluk. Prajwal picked an argument over allocation of grants and also allegedly threatened Jayananda of life.
Earlier, BJP workers had posted on social media claiming that the Puttur MLA had brought more grants. It is said that the argument broke out overthe same issue. All are said to be supporters of MLA Ashok Rai.
A case has been registered at the Puttur town police station in this regard.
