DAVANAGERE: A cobra, which had coiled itself under the seat of a motorcycle parked in the Hadadi police station premises, was rescued after a two-hour effort.
The motorcycle belongs to a police staffer and some of the personnel had noticed it climbing the motorcycle on Wednesday evening. The police personnel then requisitioned the services of snake catcher Prakash Badiger.
The cobra had coiled itself in the motorcycle chassis under the seat and it took a great deal of effort to get it out of the spot. Finally, it was removed from there, bagged and let in to the forest.
