BALLARI: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has suddenly cancelled his to visit Koppal and Vijayanagar, scheduled for Tuesday, raising questions.
Following the CM’s tour cancellation, questions are being raised on whether the MUDA site allocation, the multi-crore Valmiki Corporation scams and the BJP-JDS padayatra have put him on the backfoot.
As per the schedule, the chief minister was to offer traditional bagina at o Tungabhadra dam as it was filled due to heavy downpour. But it was yet to be confirmed by the chief minister’s office. However, the programme was postponed a day before the CM’s visit.
Vijayanagara Deputy Commissioner M S Divakar on Monday informed the media about the postponement of the CM’s programme.
