BELAGAVI: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah tugged at BJP leader Balachandra Jarkiholi’s ear at a public event at Koujalagi village in the district on on Monday. He even Balachandra was on his side and not like other BJP leaders who were conspiring to dislodge him.
Speaking after inaugurating a bronze statue of Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna at Koujalagi, CM Siddaramaiah said the BJP was trying to unseat him. “But Balachandra Jarkiholi is on my side”, the CM remarked.
“As long as the people of Belagavi, where I will be inaugurating Sangolli Rayanna statues in four places, are with me, nobody can dislodge me”, the CM said. While getting off the stage, the CM jovially pulled Balachandra Jarkiholi’s by the ear even as the latter was seeing off the guests on the stage.
