BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has begun budget preparations, holding a meeting with the Finance Department officials at his official residence ‘Cauvery’ on Tuesday. The special joint session of the Assembly starts on Thursday, followed by the budget session.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is aiming to present a record budget, focusing on budget preparations despite ongoing power-sharing issues. He held the first preparatory budget meeting on Tuesday evem as Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is in Delhi for high-level talks with Congress leaders.
