BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has got a major relief again in the alleged MUDA scam case. The High Court, which heard the case on Thursday, has reserved its judgment for a future date without making a mention of it.
After hearing the arguments and counter-arguments in today’s hearing, Justice Nagaprasanna has reserved the judgment and ordered that the interim order will continue until the next judgment.
Siddaramaiah had filed a writ petition questioning the order issued by the Governor granting permission for his prosecution in connection with the alleged Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam. The hearing of the petition was held in the High Court on Thursday.
The High Court’s decision to reserve its judgment and continue the interim order comes as a relief for Siddaramaiah, who has been facing allegations of corruption in the MUDA scam case.
