BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah made his first public appearance in 12 days after recovering from a leg injury. He attended the Global Investors Meet (GIM), being held at the Palace Grounds in Bengaluru, arriving in a wheelchair.

The CM had been resting at his home after being discharged from Manipal Hospital on February 2. During his recovery, he held meetings, including a budget meeting, from his residence.

While speaking to the media, Higher Education Minister Dr M C Sudhakar said the CM had suffered a severe leg injury after slipping in the bathroom. “Doctors had advised him to rest, which is why he had to cancel his scheduled visit to Chikkaballapur and Channapatna on February 2”, Sudhakar said.
