BENGALURU: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday announced that 7th Pay Commission recommendations will be implemented for state government employees after getting the interim report. The CM said the interim report is expected in March and, based on that, an announcement will be made.
“We will take a decision in March itself and implement the interim recommendations in 2023-24. We have set up the Pay Commission under Sudhakar, an efficient officer and we have shown our commitment by setting up the Pay Commission” the CM said.
Only on Wednesday, former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa had raised the issue of government employees in the Legislative Assembly. The government employees union had also set a deadline for the implementation of the Pay Commission recommendations.
