BENGALURU: Bad roads and potholes have always been Bengaluru’s bane, sometimes almost unmotorable. A citizen recently posted videos on the social media platform X, highlighting the pitiable condition of the Medahalli-Kadugodi Road, urging KR Pura MLA Byrathi Basavaraj, the traffic police and the Chief Minister’s Officer on Special Duty among others, to fix the road.
Subhajit Ghosh (@GhoshCemk) posted two videos of the Medahalli-Kadugodi Road’s current condition in Bengaluru. In the videos, it can be seen that the entire stretch of road appears to have deep potholes and loose gravel, and the road is uneven and dusty. The whole stretch of the Medahalli-Kadugodi road has no pavement, road dividers, or streetlights. The road condition is a big risk to commuter safety due to all the problems faced on this road.
The “X’ user also mentioned that the Medahalli-Kadugodi road has been in a pathetic situation for the last six months or so. Every part of the road is dug, and it’s not possible to even walk on that road. The authorities concerned haven’t taken any action so far, he highlighted.
“The medahalli- kadugodi road current condition  is significantly deteriorated, posing a substantial risk to commuter safety due to the presence of deep potholes n constant dustiness, requesting authorities to look into matters on priority! “…the medahalli kadugodi road has been in pathetic situation since last 6 months or so. Every part of road is dug and not possible to even walk. Pls do something about it”, he wrote on X.
Respoting it, another user @TableTawa wrote, “Respected authorities, Medahalli Kadugodi Road has been in this condition for more than a year now. work was progressing  it has stalled now for a while.. requesting to update regarding this”.
