BENGALURU: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has intensified its investigation into the Aland vote theft case and has gathered significant information. Based on this, it is now preparing to reopen an old case related to the Chilume Trust in Bengaluru, which had created a stir during the previous elections.
Several BJP leaders were implicated in the scandal when it first came to light. The CID is now attempting to understand the current status of the Chilume Trust case, seeking legal advice and preparing to reopen the case.
