CID arrests 5 teachers for irregularities in teachers recruitment exam

CHITRADURGA: Five teachers have been arrested by Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials on Wednesday for their alleged involvement in irregularities during a teachers’ recruitment examination that was held in 2014-15 at Nagasamudra village in Molakalmuru taluk.

Karibasappa Irani from Nagasamudra village, Savitha from Bandravi village in Molakalmur taluk, Kotrappa from Madderu village, Deepak Poojary from Hirekandavadi village, all in Holalkere taluk, and P Ekantha from Eraballi village in Hiriyur taluk, are the accused in irregularities during recruitment of teachers.

The CID  conducted raids simultaneously on Wednesday and took the five teachers into custody.
