BENGALURU: Bengaluru’s showcase Church Street, a popular shopping hub, attracts visitors from India and abroad. But the street will be closed temporarily for public use due to ongoing road repairs by BBMP.
The street is closed to vehicular traffic, with barricades in place, causing traffic congestion on Brigade Road. Commuters traveling towards Brigade Road have been advised by the traffic police to exercise caution.
The road repairs have disrupted the usual atmosphere, halting vehicle movement and affecting businesses. BBMP should ensure timely completion of the work, said local traders.
