KALABURAGI: A car festival was held at Kakandaki village in Jewargi taluk in knee-deep water after the heavy rain on Friday night. Surprisingly, the chariot moved in the water without getting stuck.
The Mallaradhya Jathra was held in the village under the guidance of Totendra Swami of Korisiddeshwara Math. While the devotees were worried how the chariot will pass through the water-logged road, the procession went of successfully without any untoward incident.
