CHITRADURGA: Inmates of the D Devaraj Urs post-matric students’ hostel in Challakere town staged a protest with their luggage on Thursday night against the lack of basic facilities and alleged misbehaviour of the warden.
The students brought their trunks outside the hostel demanding that that the warden Chandra Naik be transferred. They alleged that he comes drunk to the hostel and abuses them. The students also said the hostel has no proper toilets, drinking water facilities or ceiling fans.
