MANDYA: ‘Century Gowda’, known for his role in the movie ‘Tithi’, has passed away due to age-related illness. He was 100 years old.
Singregowda, originally from Singregowdana Koppalu village in Mandya district, gained fame as ‘Century Gowda’ after the movie ‘Tithi’, where he played a character with the same name, referencing his age of over 100 years.
He had been ill for some days and breathed his last on Sunday night. His funeral was held on Monday in his village.
