Police intensify probe into Sudeep threat letter case, suspect both letters written by one person

BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police, who are investigating the case of two threat letters sent to actor ‘Kiccha’ Sudeep, suspect that both may have been sent by the same person as they were dropped in the same post box near Domlur. The police are now gathering more information about Sudeep’s rivals and have decided to questioning those who were engaged in a spat on social media.

Kiccha Sudeep’s fans and some of his rivals had engaged in a wordy duel on social media recently. Following this, Sudeep’s fans had even gheraoed the houses of the rivals. Sudeep has informed the police that he suspects the hand on someone from the film industry in the threat letter case and the police are now making a list of his rivals to question them.

‘Kiccha’ Sudeep’s manager Jack Manju had received the letters from an unknown person, which threatened to release the actor’s “private videos” on social media. Following this, the actor’s manager had lodged a complaint wihth the Puttenahalli police.
