CHIKKABALLAPUR: The popular tourist spot on Bengaluru’s outskirts, Nandi Hills, will now be open to visitors from 5.30 am itself for those who want to get a view of the sunrise.
Chikkaballapur Deputy Commissioner Nagaraju passed the order on November 9, after a meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary on October 14 wherein ways to improve the tourist spot were discussed.
So far, visitors were allowed only after 6 am. Now, the hill station will be open half an hour earlier. The decision to open up Nandi Hills half a hour early was taken as a lot of tourists come to view the sunrise, the DC noted.
Nandi Hills is a popular tourists destination, located 65 km away from Bengaluru.
