BENGALURU: An SSLC girl student of Sri Annapoorneshwari Vidyaniketana school in Girinagar, Bengaluru, was allegedly assaulted by her teacher, Bhagya, over a minor issue. The student was admitted to a hospital and is undergoing treatment.
The teacher Bhagya allegedly assaulted the girl over a minor issue following which her parents filed a complaint at the Girinagar police station. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
An FIR has been registered at Girinagar police station.
The mother of the student mentioned in the complaint alleged that the teacher was taking extra classes from 7 am to 10 pm ahead the SSLC exam. “The teacher was pressuring the students. She threatened that if any student missed the classes, their results would be withheld”, the mother said.
