KALABURAGI: Cash was allegedly distributed to women who attended a felicitation function organised in honour of Congress Lok Sabha member Radhakrishna Doddamani upon his election at Chittapur town.
The felicitation was organised by Congress leaders and women were given Rs 200 each in envelopes. Videos of women coming out of the event with the envelopes and checking out the cash have gone viral on social media.
Minister Priyank Kharge, Dr Sharana Prakash Patil and several other Congress leaders participated in the event. Radhakrishna Doddamani is the son-in-law of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.
