BENGALURU: A case has been registered against a young woman by Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) for insulting Kannada language.
In an attempt to defend actor Kamal Haasan’s statement, she insulted Kannada saying it does not even figure in the top 10 languages. “All are shouting Kannada; that’s why Kamal Haasan said he won’t apologise, he just refused. It doesn’t matter that the movie hasn’t been released. He won’t apologise,” she said it in a heat of the moment.
The young woman, identified as Greeshma from Kurubarahalli in Bengaluru, has been accused of insulting Kannada. A complaint has been filed against her at the Mahalakshmi Layout police station by KRV activists three days ago.
