BENGALURU: The Banaswadi police have arrested one person who was involved in a carjacking case in the city recently. The arrested has been identified as Syed Yasin (26).
Syed Yasin and his accomplice Mohammed Mansoor would prowl the roads at night looking for lonely car drivers of foreign origin. They would bang the car from behind intentionally and then approach the car driver to apologise for it.
Then they would threaten the car driver with a weapon and make away with the vehicle after robbing the car owner of his mobile phone, wallet and other valuables.
