The car hit the road divider, careens out of control and plunged into the water body.

RAMANAGARA: In a horrific crash, a car speeding on the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway spun out of control after hitting the divider and plunged into a water body by the roadside early on Saturday. The four occupants of the car were seriously injured in the incident.

The car was heading from Bengaluru towards Mysuru when it crashed near Sankalagere Gate in Channapatna taluk. Footage from CCTV shows the speeding Skoda car trying to overtake another car, hitting the dividing and taking a sharp left turn, going through a median on the service road and crashing into a water body.

All the injured were shifted to a local hospital. The Channapatna traffic police visited the spot and have registered a case.
