BENGALURU: A car toppled twice while trying to avoid a pothole near Kunigal bypass flyover in Nelamangala on the Tumakuru-Bengaluru National Highway on Monday. Luckily, the six occupants of the car escaped with minor injuries and are receiving treatment at a private hospital.
A case has been registered at the Nelamangala traffic police station. Despite frequent accidents and casualties on the Tumakuru-Bengaluru National Highway, the National Highways Authority of India and toll company seem to be neglecting the issue, putting innocent lives at risk.
The fact that ministers, MLAs and officials are using the road daily without taking notice of the issue shows poor administration, locals pointed out.
