BENGALURU: A heated argument erupted between two drivers at Marathahalli in Bengaluru after a minor accident involving a cab and a private car in the Marathahalli police station limits on Wednesday. A video of the altercation was widely circulated on social media.
The taxi driver was assaulted by the car driver, who used abusive language and attempted to attack him. The altercation escalating to the point where the car driver damaged the taxi driver’s mobile phone. Despite the police being nearby, the individual continued to misbehave.
The car reportedly rearended the cab while moving on the road. A crowd gathered at the spot, but the car driver shouted at them too. Finally, both the car driver and the cab driver went to the Marathahalli police station. The police are likely to take action against the car driver for assaulting the cab driver and other offences such as using abusive language and damaging property.
